FAQs: Welcome

Are the cottages dog-friendly?

Yes, all of our units are dog-friendly. Your first dog is free with a doggy welcome pack included in your accommodation. We do however ask that you do not allow your dogs in the bedrooms for the sake of our allergy guests.

Is there parking available onsite?

Yes, there is free parking behind electric gates available onsite. There is one parking space designated for each unit, but additional parking can be pre-arranged upon request.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Each unit has its own free Wi-Fi connection for you to use, and all TVs are connected to the Wi-Fi system so that you can use streamign services such as Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+, etc.

What time can I check in?

Check in for Annie and Clarabelle is from 4pm. For Silver Birches and Pine View, check in is from 5pm. 


If you require a later check-in, please let us know.

What time is check out?

Check out in Annie and Clarabelle is 10am. Silver Birches and Pine View check out time is 11am.


If you require a late check-out, please let us know and we will endeavour to accomodate you.

How do I book?

To book with us directly, fill out our website contact form with your selected dates and cottage/hut. We will then get back to you as soon as possible with availability, pricing and payment details.

How do I find you?

The best way is probably to look us up on Google because Sat Nav sometimes struggles to find us - if you do have any problems, please let us know. If you book with us directly, we will provide you with detailed directions.

Are towels and bed linen provided?

Yes, your rooms will be made up and ready for you upon your arrival. If you are staying in one of the railway huts, you may want to bring additional towels with you for your hot tub.

Where is the nearest pub?

The Cavendish Arms pub is a two-minute walk away from our site, making it the perfect dining venue. The pub offers delicious food with a friendly atmosphere - we recommend you book as it's always busy!

Is there a place to store bikes?

There is a secure, lockable bike store onsite, and facilities to clean your bike down after a ride.

Do you offer gift cards?

If you would like to pay for/contribute to a stay in our of our units, email us and we will create an egift card for the trip (these vouches may only be redeemed when booking directly with us)

Where is the nearest EV charging point?

Our nearest charging point is in the High Street Car Park in Skipton, five minutes drive from the cottages.

How big is your site?

We have two cottages and two huts onsite, making us a small, quiet and peaceful place for you to spend your holiday. Our site capacity is 15 people across the four units, making us an ideal choice for a big family get-together where you can still have your own space, or for intimate wedding groups using local venues.

Do you accept PayPal?

Yes, we accept both PayPal transfer and direct bank transfer - we will send you details when you reserve your dates with us.

Are your cottages child-friendly?

Clarabelle has a collapsible baby cot and a sofa bed, allowing children under the age of 12 to stay for no additional charge.

Silver Birches is designed for families with children; the twin bed attic room allows kids to have their own independent space whilst being close to adult supervision. The room holds a dollshouse, gaming table and a mixture of board games to keep the kids entertained. A number of child friendly features, such as safety gates on all staircases and child safe spots for items such as washing tabs are also included.


Pine View and Annie do not have specific additions for children, however we are very child-friendly across the site, with a recreation area and large communal garden to explore and enjoy.
